Dick continued running the dairy until his retirement in 1993. Dick enjoyed playing golf at Brookhaven, playing cards with his brothers and friends, was an avid bowler and a member of the Mullyville Hunting Club. Dick could often be found working on various projects at their residence on Mosher Road. Besides his parents Dick was predeceased by his siblings Bernice Towers, Ward Towers, Lois Smart, David Towers and Earl “Junior” Towers. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Beverly, and his brother Loyal (Ann) Towers of Guilderland, NY. Dick was blessed with four children that meant the world to him; Patrick (Charleen) Towers of South Glens Falls, Stormy (Jonathan) DeSantis of Lake George, Colleen (Philip) Borko of Rock Hill, and Michael (Amy) Towers of Queensbury. He is also survived by his grandchildren who lovingly called him Poppy; Chelsea and Marissa Towers, Jonathan Springer, Jenna and Nathan Borko and Nolan Towers and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from Noon to 2 pm, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.
