Sandra McGowan Obituary
She was 56.
Born Oct. 30, 1954, in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Emery McGowan and Gertrude Keech McGowan.
Sandra is survived by three sisters, Linda McGowan Myers (Donald) of Saratoga Springs, Barbara McGowan Carey (James) of Schuylerville and Debra McGowan Armstrong (Thomas) of Ballston Spa; two brothers, Larry McGowan (Ann Marie) of Ballston and Ricky McGowan (Laurie) of Florida; 12 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ms. McGowan's family would like to express their great appreciation for the compassionate and loving care that was given to their sister throughout her life. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Starnes, Dr. Bell and the staff at Saratoga Hospital ICU and C-3, and also the staff of the Hadley Ira group home.
Services are private. Burial will be in the family plot at Gansevoort Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
