I am very sad to hear of Tim's passing. I was thankful to know him and was also grateful for his offerings of help and advice when I needed it. We always had some laughs while at work in a very stressful environment. I am so sad he is not in our world anymore. Words are so inadequate at a time like this, but Tim loved his family and shared many good, happy stories about all of you including the pets. I am so sorry.

I´ve only known Dr. VanDyck for about 7 months, but I was absolutely devastated when I heard about his passing. I work in critical care, so obviously the last year and a half has taken a toll on my mental health. I started seeing him in May for PTSD, and he has been instrumental in my recovery process. From the very first appointment, I really liked Dr. VanDyck. He seemed to really listen to me and care about my mental health. He definitely focused on the whole person, so to speak. He would spend a lot of time simply conversing with me about life and work, searching for things he could help me address. He pushed me to advocate for myself at work to make some changes that have helped alleviate some of the stress. In the course of telling me stories about his own life to relate to me, I realized what an absolutely wonderful human being he was. I am forever grateful that I had the chance to know him, however brief. To his family- he talked about you guys a lot and I could tell how much he cared for you all. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
