FORT MYERS, FL – Brock L. Boss, 38, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 17, 2021.
He was born on December 20, 1982 in Sterling, the son of Scott and Erna (Clapper) Boss. He attended Rock Falls School. Brock married Kerianne Grabowicz on July 13, 2002. Brock was employed in the roofing trades in the Fort Myers area. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish, fossil hunting and was a big into demolition derby, Brock was a friend to many and cherished his family time. He was a loving husband and proud father.
Survivors include his wife Kerianne; his son Nicolas Boss of Dixon; his parents: Scott (Vanessa) Boss of Rock Falls and Erna Boss of Rock Falls; his brothers Brandon (Valerie) Boss and Brick Boss (Tonya Smith); his nieces: Abby and Aubree; his nephew Ethan; and his faithful companion "Winston."
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ernest and Catherine Clapper and paternal grandparents: Larry Boss and Sharell Renkema.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5-7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls, followed by the service at 7:00 PM with the Reverend Jason Borton officiating.

I met Brock in feb. 2020 when I was looking for a roofing contractor after Hurricane Irma . I was fornuatate to have hired Boss roofing because I got to meet Brock Boss . We stayed in touch often after the roof project . I sincerely enjoyed his company . It is not often someone you hire becomes like a friend . He was one of a kind . I am saddened very much by his sudden passing . I pray to God that your family is consoled and Blessed . Brock often mentioned with pride his wife and family . I will always have special memories of him.
