Carolyn J. Icenogle, age 82, of Rock Falls, died Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Homestead of Morrison.
Carolyn was born February 24, 1943 in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Waldo and Letha (Urton) Jaques. She married Jack Icenogle on September 28, 1963 in New Bedford, IL. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2020. Carolyn was employed at Mr. Nifty Cleaners for several years. She was a great cook and homemaker who loved her family and her kitty.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Karen) Icenogle of Morrison and Brad Icenogle of Rock Falls; her sister, Linda Thurm of Rock Falls; three brothers, Jim Jaques of Rock Falls, Gene (Laurie) Jaques of Sterling, and Jack (Chris) Jaques of Tampico; and four grandchildren, Alyssa, Noah, Brinkley, and Emery.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her daughter, Lori Simpson.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling with Rev. Dr. Scott Porter of Abiding Word Church in Sterling officiating.
A memorial has been established.
