Dennis "Wade" Bolin, 54, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.
Wade was born on October 22, 1969, to Dennis Bolin and Deb (Dunn) Aurand. Wade has lived all over from Tennessee to California to Amboy, to finally settling down in Dixon, where he met his wife, Julie (Bushman) Bolin. Wade and Julie got married on June 13, 1992. It wasn't until 1997 that they welcomed their first child, Trevor. Three years later they welcomed their daughter, Torrie.
Wade worked for Dixon Direct (formally known as Dixon Web) for 31 years. Wade retired and was enjoying working as a Lots Driver, driving a transportation bus for Kreider Services, and spending every chance he could with his children and grandchildren.
Wade was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Bolin, in 2008.
Wade is survived by his son, Trevor (Amanda, Rhylen, Makenly) Bolin; his daughter, Torrie Bolin; his father, Dennis Bolin (Donna Beard); his mother, Deb (Willy) Aurand; his sisters, Toni (Randy) Carroll and Christine (John) Gaskill; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Wade was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and friend. He never failed to make sure that others' wants and needs were put before his own. There were many people in his life that Wade cared for and loved that he called family, whether they were blood or not. Many people in his life knew him as "Uncle Wade" or "Big Papa Pump". The lives of many were touched.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, in Dixon. Cremation Rites will be accorded.
A memorial has been established.
