Died: September 11, 2024 in Sterling, Illinois
Karen O. Conley, 72, of Sterling, died Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Rock River Hospice Home, Sterling. Karen was born January 14, 1952 in Sterling the daughter Jeannie (Ohare) Ladenburger. She married Rick Conley on July 22, 1985 in Dixon.
Karen was a retired flight attendant for American Airlines. She loved to skydive and ride motorcycles. Karen had numerous friends that she loved. She especially enjoyed going with them on pontoon rides on the river and to Moonlight Bay, going to the Moose for "BINGO" and Typsy's on Wednesdays. Karen loved life and never complained.
Survivors include her husband Rick of Sterling; her mother, Jeannie of Sterling; one son, Chad (Jackie) Conley of Port St. Lucie, FL; one brother, Jerry (Ronnie) Ohare of Springfield; and two grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Karen's name to Happy Tails.
