Kendall (Chase) Charles Shaw, II, 24, died Monday, September 12, 2022. He resided in Hanover, MD.
Kendall was born on March 13, 1998 in Dixon, Illinois, the son of Kendall C. and Tiffany D. (Muntman) Shaw. His family lived in Rock Falls until the 5th grade. He graduated from Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa in the class of 2016. Kendall was an avid gamer. He loved gaming and computers from an early age of three. This led Kendall to join the Navy as an IT technician in 2017. His last attachment was with the US Fleet Cyber Command stationed at Fort Meade in Maryland. He was recently promoted to the rank of Petty Officer First Class.
Survivors include his parents, Kendall and Tiffany Shaw of Woodway, Texas; one sister, Miranda Shaw of Woodway, Texas; one niece, Oaklynn Brown; and one nephew, Jamison Brown.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sharlot and Curtis Muntman and his paternal grandparents, Rose (Pat) and Kenneth Shaw, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Military Honors to follow.
