Died: April 12, 2025 in Mendota, IL
Mary L. Hackbarth age 84 of Amboy passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025 at Allure of Mendota. She was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Amboy the daughter of Leonard and Frieda (Steder) Leffelman.
Mary married Kenneth "Skeet" Hackbarth Sept. 29, 1967 in Dixon, IL. He preceded her in death April 1, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Joanne Bennett and Diane Nielsen, three brothers Norman, Michael and David Leffelman.
Mary is survived by her daughter Krista (Todd) Hobbs of Amboy, one brother Randy (Karen) Leffelman of Frankfort, IL, sister in law Regina Leffelman of Lostant, many nieces and nephews and long time companion Harry Fite of Amboy.
Memorial service will be on Saturday May 3, 20225 at 11:00 AM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with burial of cremains following at St Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
