Norma Alice Lauts, 94 of Rock Falls, died Monday, June 27, 2022 at her home.
Norma was born on March 27, 1928 in Sterling, the daughter of Ralph and Elsie (Hinrich) Keener. She married Paul Everett Lauts on June 12, 1949 in Rock Falls. Norma worked as a seamstress for Kline's Department Store in Sterling. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and singing with the "Sunshine Singers".
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Bittner of Pinellas Park, FL, Paula Johnson of Auburn, CA, and Sheryl Lauts of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter-in-law, Sherry Lauts of Prophetstown; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and seven great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Robert Lauts; one brother, Robert Keener; one sister, Delores Collinson; and one great grandson, Dalton Talbot.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rock Falls. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Pastor Bree Truax officiating. Burial will conclude at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.

My cousin, Norma, and I were born 2 weeks apart and grew up together; our families were very close. I will always remember the wonderful times we had together! I will miss you, Norma. Rest In Peace.
