Ramona Ann Reglin, of Dixon, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Heritage Square in Dixon. Ramona worked at BorgWarner for over 30 years where she retired in 1995.
She was born December 5, 1929, in Rock Falls, the daughter of Vernon and Wendelka (Conklen) Near. Ramona married Kenneth L. Reglin and were together for 64 years before his death in 2011. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dixon, Dixon Elks Lodge Women's Auxiliary, volunteered at KSB Hospital, Dixon Food Pantry and spent many years bowling at Plum Hollow Lanes. Ramona was a Chicago Cubs and NASCAR fan.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth (Nancy C.) Reglin Jr of Meridian, ID, Jeffery (Julie) Reglin of Dixon; one daughter in law, Nancy A. Reglin of Dixon; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister Marilyn (Louis) Venier of Dixon.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; one son, Dennis Reglin; her parents, Vernon and Wendelka Near; two brothers, Elwood Near and Andrew Near; and one sister-in-law, Judy Near.
Visitation will take place from 9-11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Juliot, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon.
Memorials have been established to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon; and Dixon Food Pantry.
Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
