Died: September 6, 2025 in Morrison, IL
ROCK FALLS - Randall L. Wolber, 76, of Rock Falls, died on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Resthave Home in Morrison.
Randy was born June 17, 1949, in Sterling, the son of Lawrence and Marilyn (McKee) Wolber. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Randy married Karen Trobaugh on January 10, 1970, in Rock Falls. He was employed for Northwestern Steel & Wire and Sterling Steel for many years. Randy served as a member of the Rock Falls American Legion Post #902 for nearly 30 years, where he even started jam sessions and shared his love of playing music. He also served as Commander of the Legion for over a year, as well as honor guard. Randy was also a snowmobile safety instructor for 25 years. He was involved with Boy Scouts, earned his private pilot license, and was a world traveler. Randy enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, riding his motorcycle with Karen around the US, playing cards, and was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Most of all, Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's events.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Rock Falls; one daughter, Sheli Wolber, of Rock Falls; one son, Brian (Jenelle) Wolber, of Port Byron; three sisters, Connie Roberts, Wendy (Bob) Fauble, and Judy (Duane) Lou, all of Rock Falls; and three grandchildren, Keyon Wolber, Hayden Buntjer, and Isabelle Wolber.
Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
