Sandra L. Lewandowski, 72 of Sterling died Sunday November 10, 2024.
She was born on January 18, 1952 in Sterling the daughter of Milton and Hellen B. (Appenzeller) Ward. Sandra had worked as a nurse for over 30 years at several US Military hospitals. She was an avid reader and an animal lover.
Survivors include her sons: Brock (Diana) Lewandowski, John Lewandowski Jr and Jeremy Lewandowski (Jenny); her sister Beth (Tony) Fiorini; her grandchildren: Jacob, Wil and Mack; her ex-husband John Lewandowski Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters: Julie Zink and Ellen Ward.
Memorials services will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 10 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Happy Tails Shelter in Rock Falls.
