Sandra J. Peterson age 63 of Franklin Grove passed away on Sunday March 2, 2025 at her home. She was born on Aug. 28, 1961 in Mendota the daughter of Paul and Effie (Howell) Lambert. She earned her Associates Degree from SVCC. Sandra worked for Deans Foods/Bay Valley for 20 years, Kreider Services for 8 years, and the Amboy Restaurant for many years. She also volunteered at Teen Turf in Amboy. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Karen Batalgia, and Robin Lambert. She is survived by her children Edward Marsh of Troy Grove, Derick Peterson of LaMoille, siblings Terry Lambert of Tampa FL, Penny (Joe) Dickey of Hardin AR, Charles Lambert of Dixon, two aunts Isabelle Ptak of Amboy, and Peggy Hicks of Harmon. Funeral services will be on Friday March 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Burial will follow at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Friday March 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. A memorial has been established to Teen Turf in Amboy. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
