To Yvonne & The Mitchell Family, please know that my prayers are with you all. I regret not being there personally but I am just finding out today. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers as I know it is not easy. I lost my father just this past October, so I know it is very hard but be strong in the Lord and he will keep you and sustain you all as you go through this very difficult period in your lives.

To my family I, know that farewells are hard, especially when you're saying them to someone you love dearly who has crossed over into the eternal world. For that very reason The Apostle Paul wanted us to be sure that we understood what happens to those who die who have put their faith in Christ. So he wrote "Brother, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. He explains that one day the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then those of us who are still alive when Jesus comes back "will be caught up together with them in the cloud to meet the Lord in the middle of the air". Paul went on to tell us to encourage each other with these words. (1Thessalonians 4:13, 14,15,16,17 & 18). Dad's memory to us is a keepsake with which we will never part. Though God has him in his keeping we'll always have him in our hearts. In closing I say to you my family that even in this hour where you now stand to count it all joy. Dad fought a good fight and he finish his course most important he kept the faith. Believing that for us to live is Christ and to die is Gain (Philippians 1:21)

To the Mitchell family, the Bible says blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. We know that God keeps his word. Be comforted.
