Not sure what to say?

Arthur and Betty Yarbrough became dear friends to me and my family over the years we shared together in Wilmington Island United Methodist Church. They were the "grandparents" to my children while we lived in Savannah and we will be forever grateful and thankful for that relationship! I'm so happy that Arthur is finally where he has wanted to be ever since Betty went home. How happy they must be to be together at last in their eternal home. I can see Betty singing in the heavenly choir and Arthur listening to his "special angel," with that sweet smile on his face. What a blessing it was to all who knew them! Sharing in our loss here on earth,

I have many fond memories of Uncle Arthur as he liked to "pull my leg" and did so on many occasions. He loved to "kid" me about the ice cream man; he called him the "grasshopper man" but boy, did we love those nutty buddies we got from the "grasshopper man". I will remember him always. He was a very kind man and he loved my Dad and Mom very much. He, Dad and their other siblings are having a wonderful reunion in Heaven!

Uncle Skin will be greatly missed. He was a kind man and had a great heart. My family will miss him dearly.

Great Uncle Arthur will be greatly missed. I did not have the chance to get to know him as well as I would have liked to, but he will always remain in my heart.

Arthur Yarbrough was a wonderful, generous and helpful brother-in-law. He was really more of a friend than anything. I will miss you, but stand firm in the conviction that someday we will all be reunited.

I know Arthur "Skin" will be missed by many, many people, but I figure that Elizabeth was ready to see him and God had some heavenly telephone poles and lines that needed repair. No man can say that he was any better a Christian, husband, brother, son or Uncle as Arthur. His generosity and kindness give us something to strive to achieve. You have won the good race, now it's time to rest....
