Burnel Simpson Obituary

Mr. Burnel Simpson - SAVANNAH - Mr. Burnel Simpson, 68, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Hospice of Savannah. A native of Olive, GA.; Burnel was educated in the public school of Chatham County. He was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alphonso C. Piper Sr. He retired from Chatham Steel after 30 years. He also worked at Sidney A. Jones Funeral Home for over 50 years. He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife, Viola E. Simpson; three daughters, Vickie Barker, Karen Pringle, and Garnet Brown; three sons, Marvin Wells, Bernell Clark, and Bernell Pringle; three step-children, Joyce (Felix) Omel, Micheal (Jennifer) Judson, and Gregory (Joann) Judson; two sisters, Beatrice Simpson and Betty (Nathaniel) Singleton; two brothers, Eugene Simpson and Leroy (Minerva) Simpson; Goddaughter, Jacqueline Shakespear; and a host of other relatives and friends.
