Carey Connor Obituary

Carey M. Connor, Jr. - SAVANNAH - Carey Morgan Connor, Jr., 68, of Savannah, Georgia, died Thursday evening, January 12, 2017, at Candler Hospital. Born in Sylvania, Georgia, he was a son of the late Carey Morgan Connor, Sr. and the late Mary Volf Connor. Carey was a United States Army veteran. He was a residential and commercial contractor. Surviving are two daughters, Jessica M. Connor and Ashley C. Bragg and her husband, Mason, all of Savannah; one son, Shane A. Connor of Statesboro; seven grandchildren, Lee Mincey, Carson McBrayer, Averee Connor, Fletcher Connor, Jackson Connor, Natalie Bragg and Weston Bragg; one brother, Joe Connor and his wife, Pam, of Savannah; two nieces and one nephew. A private memorial service will be held for his family. Remembrances: American Cancer Society - Suite 102, 4849 Paulsen Street, Savannah, Georgia 31405-4424.
