I will miss Sister Cecilia so much. She always pushed me to do my best, and I thank her for that. She supported me in whatever I did, with the biggest, most sincere smile on her face. Thank you for everything, I will never forget you.

We feel so blessed to have had Sister Cecelia at St. James. She was truly a humble servant of the lord - always doing for others and giving so much of herself to all those around her. We will be forever grateful for all that she has done for our children and our parish. We will miss her so much. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and IHM community. God bless you, Sister! Sister Cecelia was a great woman, principal, and friend. I remember we would used to joke about the Falcons and Eagles and her team of course always won. Sister befriended me when I was young, probaly when I was 7. It was a gold relationship. My mother and father also had close relations to this magificant gift of God. She was always looking after my family and me, whether it be problems, schoolwork, life, etc. Sister was also one of my heroes in my life. She was always there for me. I even was thinking about her being my Confirmation sponsor at our home, Saint James. Even though most of us didn't realize, Sister Cecelia always came to work way early, sometimes at four in the morning. Sister was one of my closest and dearest friends. She wil be surely missed. I love you, Sister Cecelia!

Sister Cecelia was the best lady. I loved her like crazy. She was organized and creative and an interesting type of person. She had a big heart which was filled with a lot of love. I will miss her forever. She was the best principal a school could have. We were lucky to have her as long as we did. She loved us. I wish she could of stayed with us longer.

Sister was one of the greatest principals I think a child could have. She was kind and always made sure the kids were welcome in the school and were treated right. I will miss working with her for morning announcements and know that she will watch my life journey from the current 8th grade to my death from her spot in heaven.

Sister Cecelia was a true servant of God. SHe saw her purpose on this earth was to serve God, to serve our Catholic Church, to educate our children and to provide for their safety and protection. She excelled in all. She worked hard to make sure the children of St James were safe and protected. Sister Cecelia is well loved by the Long family and we have been truly blessed to have had her in our life. Sister Cecelia is my friend and I will miss her greatly. GOD BLESS her, her family, and the IHM Sisters.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
We are forever blessed to have had you in our children's lives. You touched us, and took care of our children, in loving ways that we will always treasure. We will remember you always, we will never forget you, either at home or at St. James School.
With love and gratitude,

Sister Cecilia was one of the kindest, most faith-filled people I have ever met. She was truly one-of-a-kind. She had a way of making you smile with her funny asides and sense of play.
She was a wonderful Principal and I treasure knowing her for the 6 years we spent at ST. James.
She will always have a special place in our family's hearts.
God Bless Sister and her family. You are in our prayers.

Our family has lost a dear and faithful friend.
While Sr.Cecelia's sudden passing shocks and deeply saddens our family, she will forever be in our hearts and the hearts of the many families she touched while principal of St. James Catholic School.
Her warm, sincere smile and quick wit will be remembered forever. Her love for children and others was abounding. She was loyal and devoted to God, Mary, her IHM Sisters and her St. James families.
May she rest in Peace in her heavenly home. Our special angel will watch over and pray for us for years and years to come.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
With Love and Prayers,
