Peggy, Betty and Diane:
Your father was a kind and loving man. I always saw your parents when I would come home for a visit and they would greet me with loving arms. I know you will miss him but know he is in a better place. God bless you and your families.
Love,
Sheri (Lorene's Daughter)

Although I knew Dianne so much better, I want to express my sincere sympathy to each of you. I have many fond thoughts of Mr. Cecil & Mrs. Evelyn when I was young (a long time ago!) Daddy has been gone for about 25 years now, but we just lost Mama one year ago today. I know all of you have wonderful memories to cherish, as I do. Dianne, I would love to see you and really wish we could have a class reunion. It's later than we think. No matter which direction that the "class of '68" went, I have always felt like the relationships that I formed with all of you for 12 years has made a definite impact on my entire life. I would not trade those years for anything! Let me hear from you.
With love,

It was a joy to be Cecil's pastor for almost four years. He was a great inspiration to me and my ministry. His love for people and for Jesus was evident in his life. One of the last things I remember him getting together was a share group. His desire was for people to study the Word of God and build relationships. He is now with our Savior, Jesus the Christ. The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD.
