Charles Cheatham Obituary

Charles Youmans Cheatham, 86, died May 20, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Swainsboro, Georgia son of the late Charles and Sula Youmans Cheatham. He lived in Meldrim, Georgia for the past thirty years. Mr. Cheatham was retired from A&P Grocery Stores and a member of Bull Street Baptist Church. His wife, Rebecca Moxley Cheatham and daughters, Patricia Osborne and Charlene Schueller preceded him in death. Survivors: daughter and son -in-law, Becky and Tom Halpin of Martinez; four grandchildren, Leon Ream, Jr. of Gainesville, FL; Debra Robinson of Alexandria, VA; Laura Bozeman of Flower Mound, TX; Christine Halpin of Greenville, SC; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Kristen Robinson of Alexandria, VA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2005 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors . Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
