It is going year number 6 in couple of days....but it still hurts like it was yesterday. But me and the boys are a lot stronger now and have come to accept what life is now. They are 21 and 18 now, and they are our men that we created. Our oldest is becoming a husband next year to a beautiful woman that I just know you would have loved. Our baby boy is doing well working and has graduate high school. He has your passion for fixing up cars just like you. Every year this time we think of you, remember you. We miss you every second of every day. There are special moments in life where we wish you were here with us to share that moment with us. We sit sometimes and laugh and remember the smile, laughs and jokes we shared with you. But most of all the love you gave us. You well forever be my husband, my first love, my best friend, and my best choice in my life. Cause you gave me my handsome sons and showed me the world. We miss you and remember you and you were loved and you still are !!!

I'm completely crushed. I had the honor of being Corey's neighbor in Brunswick and instantly become very close friends even more than that I consider him my brother. I will forever miss working on his Chevelle and Monte Carlo with him or just sitting in the garage drinking a beer and solving world problems one beer at a time. My heart goes out to Tenisha, CJ and Kaylon and the rest of hours family. The world lost a truly great man. Until we meet again my friend. I love you

I would love to thank everyone who had good things to say about my husband. He was a great father, husband ,son, brother and friend to many. It brings me and my family so much joy to know how Corey touched so many and left his mark on this world. He loved God for and for most, his family and his job with very dear friends he made. Thank you guys for caring for him..I will forever miss is laugh, big beautiful smile, sense of humor, but most of all his love....My husband, my very best friend and my everything ...Corey II, Kaylon, Jaila and myself miss u terribly. But in time I will b with u again but until then look after us as u always did just from a far now... I pray for u still everyday and think of u every min of everyday...But until then i will take care of ur legacy until the god lord calls me home to be with u my king...Love you honey from your devoted wife if 17 years....

Corey, he went from just a co-worker, to a best friend and then a brother. When I met Corey, I knew he was a special person. His personality always made me smile, his smile made my personality better. I was blessed to become a friend of his. In fact, I have very few best friends and I considered Corey one of them. We hung out all the time. If it wasn't at work, it was at the range or one of our hang outs. I truly believe that they don't come much better than him. He was definitely a special person. I am terribly sorry for his family's lost. I wish them well and hope his wife and kids will eventually find peace. They say that there is a time for everyone. It's so hard for me to believe that it was his. I know that I'm a better person just for knowing him. I cannot believe that I will never see him again, at least in this life. Every time I think about it, it tears me up. Rest in peace my brother, my best friend, the one that never judged me. He was a one of a kind. A very special kind....... Vaya con Dios......

I met Corey a few times and I am honored that I did . My husband thought the world of him. They would call and chat for hours on the phone about every issue you could dream of. I watched my husband shed many tears over the lost of his dear friend. May he rest in peace and his family find comfort and strength through our mighty God

I can't believe he's gone. I worked with Corey in Brunswick, GA and we weren't very close but I admired his character. My prayers are for the family, that they remain strong during this time of grief and know that God is with you. Corey you will be sorely missed.

Corey was my best friend. We talked and hung out literally every week. Over the last 11 years Corey became pretty much my little brother. We talked about our teenage daughters, our families, our love for Chevelles, and hotrods in general. What made it special is the bond I felt with Corey. Corey became a fixture at our home not only with my wife Tammy, our two yellow labs, but my family know him well also.
We are still finding it hard to cope with this and are here if the family need us.
We met when we were worked together at Gulfstream in Brunswick Ga. I moved to Savannah, and brought Corey with me. I know life will go on without him, my heart wishes I didnt have to.
We were both cut from the ssame cloth with us being from the Blue Ridge Mountain areas, our lives as US Navy AE's (Aircraft Electricians). we became very close. I truly loved him as if he were truly my brother.
I will miss you dearly Corey. Love ya brother..Scott
