Memories and Condolences
for David Scarborough

Not sure what to say?

February 26, 2009

To the Scarborough Family:
We were neighbors of David's on Macedonia Rd in Statesboro. He was our primary physician when he lived here, but he was also a Dear Friend to my Grandparents. He was definitely a "One of a Kind Doctor". He cared from his heart about people and it showed with each of his patients.
God Bless You through this Sad Time.

To the family, friends and patients of Dr. Scarborough: Dr Scarborough will be missed by many, including myself. He treated my family for many years. Not only was he our doctor, he was also a friend. Just by his conversation, he loved his family and Wanda very much. Not only did he and God let me keep my daddy for many years, but with his knowledge and concern, I am able to be here today. I was in his office in January, and he spoke very highly of his sister for helping to take care of their mother. My daddy is deceased now, but he used to say, Dr. Scarborough wasn't God, but he was the next thing to Him. My prayers are with you all in this time of your loss.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Dr. Scarborough. I just saw him on Friday afternoon in his office. We laughed and talked about life and also about why I was there. He was a great doctor, who always had time to sit and listen and educate you about medical issues. My daughter and myself will surely miss him. Our condolensces to his family, friends and other patients.

Donald, Diane & Wanda,
David will be missed dearly, for he was a true friend and excellent doctor. He was the doctor that found time to teach as well as to heal, a God fearing man. I worked with David in the Nursing Home, and when I left, we stayed in contact with each other and he saw the new clients that I worked with in the past few years in Glennville. I no your heart is hurting, but, look to the hills from whence cometh your help and remember it comes from the Lord. May your memories of him bring you peace and comfort. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
