To the loving family of Dawn...
I sit here tonite, after coming home from the viewing, my heart and mind are flooded with so many different emotions. When I first heard the tragic news on Sunday, my heart cried for each of you... losing a precious wife, mommy, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, etc. has to be the most painful thing that any of you will ever have to endure.
As I walked through the massive amount of people there tonite, each person represented, young and old alike, and from all walks of life, each having their own special memory of Dawn. Perhaps it may be something silly, something dramatic, something happy or sad, but all in all, a precious memory that no one can ever take away.
The wide array of beautiful flowers that filled the various rooms all represented the life that Dawn lived, each day to the very fullest, and making each day count. Each blossom was a mirror image of the beauty that this young lady had for life, and the love that she had for everyone that she came in contact with. Her smile was one that was as cute as can be, and one that she so willingly shared, making those around her happy and joyous inside. Her charming personality brightened the very room she was in, filling it with happiness. She had a way about her that most people only dream of having; the ability to make those around her feel happy as a lark!
She was only here on earth for a short period of time, but her mark in this old world will last forever. She was loved by all that knew her, and she, in turn, loved the very same way... and for that each of you are very blessed!
Take the wonderful memories of this precious young woman and keep them alive...don't tuck them away for safe keeping, live them each day to the very fullest, just the way that Dawn would have wanted.
She may be departed this world we live in, but in our hearts and minds, she will live forever!

Words can not expess the sadness we feel for you and your families. Dawn was such a special friend, more like a little mom to my boys. They loved her so much, as we all did. They really looked forward to having dinner at your house, pratically every night. They would call and say "don't cook supper we are eating with Shane and Ms.Dawn."
