Mr. Carrico and all the extended family:
Please accept our sincere sympathies on the loss of your beloved Debbie. Harry spoke with great warmth of working with Debbie while he was in Homicide (SCMPD)and I am sure she will be missed by all who knew her. May God wrap His loving arms around all of you and may the memories you had of this marvelous individual warm you until we are all reunited with our Creator.

Denise, Ann & I are truly saddened by Debbie's passing. I enjoyed knowing her, remembering we had lunch together at that restaurant across from the Court House. Deb, you have been my sister for 52 yrs, but more than that you have been my friend , always there when I needed you, ready and willing to help when-ever needed. But I would expect nothing less, as that has always been the kind of person you have been. We have shared many memories, which I will cherish forever. You are once again free to be you....fly high and be at peace...I Love You

I will always remember Debbie as the one person who could brighten up a visit to the court house. I know that we all have the faith that we will all see Debbie again in a much better place. The world will miss her terribly.

I had the privilege of having Debbie for my older sister. She is my hero. I have watched her fight cancer for the last 12 years with courage, perseverance, and hope. Through it all she always kept a smile on her face and she made all of us smile to. When our Mom passsed away in 1980 she became my "Mom" in many ways. I miss our daily conversations, her always reminding me that "she's the pretty sister", and the way she makes me laugh. Heaven is blessed now with her presence as I was blessed to have her as my sister. Deb, I miss you today as I know I will every day! Love you!

Our deepest sympathy to Ron and family. Deb was a very strong and courageous woman. We have enjoyed seeing her always smiling face for the past five years and we are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and know her. We will remember Deb and treasure her friendship always.

Deborah has been one of my favourite people for many years. We met when she adopted a puppy from us at Save-A-Life, many years ago. I know that Max will miss her terribly. She would stop by and visit me at PetSmart on Saturdays from time to time - and we would "talk pets". I will miss our friend dearly. But Debbie was able to let go knowing that we would all be okay,... in the image of her strength, God's strength. May she rest now.

Everyone at the Chatham County Victim-Witness Assistance Programm will greatly miss Debbie. Always a smile on her face, she was such an asset to Recorder's Court and the entire courthouse.

Debbie was such a strong and vibrant person, I am so sorry to hear that she lost the battle. Growing up across the street from them on Wilmington Island was wonderful. Debbie always made me laugh, she helped me when I would get speeding tickets and gave me advice when I needed it. They were my parents best friends! They watched out for me during my rebelous high school years and I thank them for it (now)! My heart goes out to Ronnie and the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

My heart is breaking today with the loss of my very, very, special friend Debbie (my other sister). Our friendship with Deb and Ronnie made living in Savannah wonderful, and my friendship with Debbie was special. Miles may have taken us apart, but you both have been in our hearts and thoughts.

Ron,
You and Debbie have amazed me through the years with the strength and courage you have both shown. I have never known a braver, stronger person than Debbie and I know that much of that was possible because of your never ending love and support. She was loved by so many and touched countless lives with her quick smile and zest for life. I count myself honored and thankful to have known her. Thank you for taking such good care of her, we never had to worry if she was ok, because she was with you. I pray that God will be with you and that you will find comfort and rest in knowing that Debbie is at peace now.

To Ron and all family members, our deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers for you during this time. Debbie truly showed great courage and inspired the people around her. I truly enjoyed working with Debbie and came to love her as a friend and admire her as a caring and giving person. Janie and I appreicated her encouragement to us during our Janie's battles with cancer, during the time of loss of our daughter Amy to the disease, and we came to be comrades in the fight to find a cure for cancer. We will miss her greatly but know she is now in peace and free from this disease. God Bless all of the family in the days ahead.
