Dorothy Bell Driggers - SAVANNAH - Dorothy Bell Driggers, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Clover, SC, at the home of her son, Leonard Canterbury, Jr. She was born August 11, 1925 in Dublin, GA, and moved to Savannah, GA, in 1946. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time at the Garden City Senior Citizens Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Driggers, grandsons, Gary Mobley, Jr., and Victor Foley. She is survived by 8 children, Anne Shealey, Vandiver, AL, Donna Downes, Ridgeland, SC, Maria (Donnie) Maddren, Beaufort, SC; Rev. Ken (Kathy) Jernigan, Round O, SC, Leonard (Cynthia) Canterbury, Jr., Clover, SC, Alan Canterbury, Garden City, GA; Dale Canterbury, Faulkville, GA; Gale (Greg) Huddleston, Vinton, VA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her special friend, Matt Warren, Port Wentworth, GA. She is survived by siblings, Gerald Collins, Warner Robbins, GA; Janice Thompson, Macon, GA; Russell Tipton, Rentz, GA; and Bonnie Nell Cunningham, Birmingham, AL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. Monday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City, Chapel. Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Monday in the Garden City Chapel, of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Otto, and Rev. Kenny Harrelson, officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, near Ellabell, Ga.
