Frank Carlton Obituary

Frank E. Carlton Jr., 98 years old, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at Hospice House in Savannah, GA. Mr. Carlton was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and was employed by A.T.&T. for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, tennis, art painting, reading, writing prose and poetry, classical music and being with his family. Mr. Carlton was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Carlton, in 1993. He is survived by his children, Dr. Frank E. Carlton III and his wife Huldah, William E. Dean and his wife Sue, Dorothy D. Brown and her husband Herman, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Magnolia Manor in Richmond Hill, GA. The family will receive visitors after the service. Burial will be in Norcross, GA beside his wife. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Magnolia Manor, 141 Timber Trail, Richmond Hill, GA. 31324. Please know that I am thinking of you and that you are in my prayers. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet your dad. He was a remarkable man. I loved his wit and his appreciation for ladies! I know that you will miss him very much. Remember the good times!
