Jesup - George Utiss, Sr., 82, died May 18, 2004. He was a charter member of Epworth United Methodist Church, retired Ga. Pacific Bestwall Division employee, active in Masonic orders, and World War II Army Veteran. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, George, Jr., and Deborah; sister, Mildred; sister-in-law, Maggie. Visitation: 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 21 at Rinehart Chapel. George our thoughts and our Prayers are with you and your family for the loss of Big George. We know that you will miss him and at times it will be hard. But knowing he is in a better with not tears no pain can comfort us and we can rejoice in the knowledge that we will all meet again in that heavenly place.
