He was active in the Coastal Amateur Radio Society and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Originally a member of the Court Street United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, he and his family later joined Wesley Monumental Methodist Church in Savannah. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Dr. Rollings' family at this time of loss. I worked for Dr. Rollings for five years at Savannah Medical Specialty and will always be indebted to Dr. Rollings for giving me the opportunity to grow in the medical field. Sometimes I felt like he was the Wizard of Oz but then realized he was the man behind the curtain. His bark was much worse than his bite. I made many friends with co-workers and patients. We, the employees, always knew he was "truly perfect". He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Rollings was a very special friend to us and to our family. He was my physician from 1966 when I was 12 until he stopped practicing and turned me over to Ro. He became the family physician for my wife and her family also. Having lived across the street from him for many years, I can still remember the sounds of his various sports cars leaving for work every morning before daylight. I also remember riding motorcycles around his home with Ro and being scolded for tearing up the grass. We have truly missed him since he stopped practicing, but the loss is now much greater. To Ro and the rest of the family our prayers are with you and may the comfort of the Lord be with you in this loss.

To the family of Dr. Harry Rollings,

Please accept my condolences in the loss of your Father. In 1966, I met your Dad when he hired me as a medical assistant. The three years that I worked with him were a learning experience. He had greater faith in me than I had in myself. He allowed me to learn to do many routine medical procedures in his labs. Although I did not go into the medical field as he had encouraged me to do, I did go back to college and earned a degree.

Thank you, Dr. Harry, and Godspeed.

HE WAS LIKE FAMILY, AND MY PHYSICIAN FOR OVER 47 YRS, SINCE I WAS EIGHT. I REMEMBER ONCE WHEN MY FAATHER CARRIED MOTHER ON A SAT. AFTERNOON AND ON THE LOWER FLOOR AT THE GASTON ST OFFICE, HE RAN THE XRAY MACHINE HIMSELF. HE SAID I HAVE TO I NEED MILK MONEY. A VERY SPECIAL DOCTOR AND A LIFE-LONG FRIEND.
