James Stringer Obituary

Bloomingdale - James T. Stringer Sr., 75, died June 4, 2005 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1930 in Manassas, GA to Thomas Shepard Stringer and Minnie Rose Knight Stringer. At an early age, he joined the Army, then a year later joined the Marines, and served for over twenty years. He then worked for the Chatham Board of Education and worked as the maintenance foreman. He also had a landscaping business. He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Michael Stringer. Mr. Stringer is survived by wife, Charlene Stringer; five sons, Richard Stringer, Patrick Stringer, Thomas Stringer, James Stringer Jr. and Stephen Stringer; two daughters, Charlene Gemar and Dianne Mosley; two step-sons, Dusty Arrington and Ricky Mobley; 24 grandchildren; one brother, Henry Jesse Stringer and two sisters, Margaret Salinas and Zarmi DeLoach and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Massey-Framke Funeral Care. Memorial service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Massey-Framke Chapel. Inurnment will be private at a later date. The family will receive friends and relatives at his residence following. Dear Family, I'm am so sorry to hear the news about Uncle Trelles. I wish I could come home to be with you and to pay my respects to Uncle Trelles. He has remained in my prayers ever since I learned he was ill and I will continue to pray for all of you.
