Mr. James D. Thompson - SAVANNAH - Mr. James D. Thompson entered into eternal rest on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Candler Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Assembly of Prayer. He retired from the U.S. Army and was a Buffalo Solider. Survivors: wife, Alice Argrow Thompson; Ronald (Brenda) Argrow, Kevin Argrow, Phillip Thompson, James Thompson, LaRon Thompson, Jermain Thompson all of Savannah, GA, Jami Thompson, Jerome Thompson, Christoper Thompson, all of Jacksonville, FL, David Wilson of Boston, MA, and Stanley Washington of NY; daughters, Stacy (Michael) Hall, Stephanie (Maurice) Williams both of Savannah, GA, Linda Wilson, Deborah (George) Lake, and Julie Wilson all of Boston, MA; sister, Nancy Johnson of West Virginia; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. You had so many titles in my heart; father, friend and road pal that it is hard to believe that you are gone. So many lessons you taught me in life and I Thank you for that. Even as your time drew near you were still being a father and a husband. "Don't worry about me," you said, but I'm glad I let you know that I Loved You while you were here. Mikey and MaKayla look for you now, but I'll let them see all of our pictures of the good ole days. You'll be missed, but never forgotten.
