James Womble Obituary

James Irvin Womble - CLAXTON - James Irvin Womble, died September 3rd 2012 at his residence. The Evans County native has lived in Claxton most of his life. James was of the Messianic Faith. He was a retired carpenter local 257 and served eight years with the United States Navy Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents, C. R. and Rosezell Womble and a son Jimmy Womble Jr. Survivors: Three daughters: Miriam (Steve) Clark , Brenda Womble Rushing, Dana (Bubba) Gay, all of Claxton. Jerry Womble Pooler, Rudolph Womble Bellville; Grandchildren: Caleb and Casey Clark, Troy Morgan, Cory Rushing, Alishia and Wesley Gay Visitation: Thursday, September 6th from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Funeral: Thursday, September 6th, 3:00 at Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel Burial: Brewton Cemetery.
