James Irvin Womble - CLAXTON - James Irvin Womble, died September 3rd 2012 at his residence. The Evans County native has lived in Claxton most of his life. James was of the Messianic Faith. He was a retired carpenter local 257 and served eight years with the United States Navy Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents, C. R. and Rosezell Womble and a son Jimmy Womble Jr. Survivors: Three daughters: Miriam (Steve) Clark , Brenda Womble Rushing, Dana (Bubba) Gay, all of Claxton.
