Jamie Young Obituary

Jamie Wilma Lumley Young - SAVANNAH - Jamie Wilma Lumley Young, 72, died Monday, December 22, 2008, at Hospice House. A native of Savannah, Jamie lived for many years in New Jersey and Florida before returning to Savannah in 1991. She was a graduate of Savannah High School and Armstrong College. She was a longtime member of Independent Presbyterian Church and was an active member of the Christian Women's Club. Surviving are three daughters, Jody Sullivan and Anne Portell, both of Savannah, and Cindy Young of Dallas, TX; her sister, JoAnn Parrish of Savannah; four grandchildren, Jordan Savas, Shelby Sullivan, and Michael Sullivan, all of Savannah, and Rachael Savas of Chicago, IL; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Savas of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews. Visitaiton: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon at Fox and Weeks Hodgson. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at Independent Presbyterian Church with Rev. Terry L.
