Jeremy Cole Obituary

Jeremy Logan Cole - HINESVILLE - Jeremy Logan Cole, 23, was called home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 8, 2012 after a long illness. Jeremy was born on September 6, 1989 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina but relocated to Liberty County with his family in 1993. Jeremy attended Diamond Elementary at Fort Stewart, Georgia, as well as Snelson-Golden Middle School in Liberty County until he became ill in 2003. He continued his education at Bradwell Institute through the hospital homebound program. Jeremy received his diploma in 2012. He enjoyed all types of music, especially country, and any kind of stuffed animal. Jeremy also loved being surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Cynthia K. Smith Yother. Survivors: mother Carmen Denise Cole (Royal) of Hinesville; father and step-mother Calvin H. Cole III and Kimberly Cole of Pooler; sister Amber Cole of Hinesville; two step-brothers Austin and Preston Salazar of Pooler; paternal grandparents Calvin H. Cole, Jr. and Patricia Cole of Ellabell; maternal grandparents Larry and B. Ann Royal of Statesboro; maternal step-grandfather James C. Yother, Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee; several aunts and uncles; a host of cousins, other relatives and family friends. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home in Flemington, Georgia. Funeral: Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington. Burial will follow after the funeral services at the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellabell, Georgia. Pallbearers: Adrian Yother, Clyde Ellis, Troy Cole and James Yother. Thomas L. Denise,I just found out this morning of the passing of Jeremy. I just don't know what to say except if I had known, I would have at least gone to the cemetery at burial. My heart is heavy for you and your family. I haven't seen you and Jeremy in a long time, you all haven't been to the Smith Family Reunion in a while. Have missed you all. Please accept my Prayers, Love and Sympathy in this sad loss in your family. He was loved, will be missed and Praise God you will see him again one sweet day and he won't be sick anymore. He is with your sweet mama, Cynthia, David and Odessa and more important rejoicing with his Lord And Savior.Didn't know if you knew my mama passed away last April 9th 2011. Please come to visit us at the the reunion center, when you feel like it. I Love you very much. Your mama's first cousin, Linda Smith Miller.Again, I am so sorry that I didn't know it until today.
