My condolences to your family. Larry was a true neighbor in the Parkwood subdivision. He helped my mom (Dorothy Smith-Murchison) and looked out for her and my brother all the time. Rest in Paradise...

Larry was one of the best neighbors, friends, extended family we could ever ask for. My kids looked to him as a Grandfather and, God, knows he helped look after and raise all of them for 13 years. We are truly saddened that we will never hear "What's up?" again. Shirley, the kids, grandkids and extended family at Legacy have lost a wonderful man. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We love you.

Uncle Larry, I am at a lost of words right now. This is so unbelievable and heartbreaking. Although I miss my mom, I am so grateful that your Sister (Claude), is not here to witness this day. I wouldn't be able to do a thing with her. She would be inconsolable. On the flip side of this, if you're a believer of the word, belive that they can now be re-united. I will miss your foolishness, your smack talking, you laughter and your love. S.I.P. Auntie Shirley (who never turned me down for a ham) & family: thank you all so very much for sharing such a special man with our family. Over 30 years ago he became Uncle Larry & always will be. Love Brenda (Pobey) & family.

Our prayers are with Ms. Shirley and the Williams Family. Mr. Williams was one of the nicest neighbor we have ever had. He would do anything he could for you at no cost. I called him the Neighborhood Watch Person. He always checked our mail and newspaper when we had to go out of town. He will truly be missed.

One of the best I know from Parkwood...you were the epitome of "it takes a village". You watched out for EVERYONE in the neighborhood and it was greatly appreciated. You were also one of the funniest beings I've ever known. It didn't even bother me that you never quite said my name right, always leaving out the "t", but everytime I'd correct you, you'd just say something funny so I didn't mind. You will be missed Mr. Larry! Ms. Shirley, my prayers are with you and your family...hoping that you all will find comfort in God knowing that Mr. Larry is in a better place.

Shirley. Please accept my condolences on the lost of your husband Larry. Not only were we former North Parkwood neighbors, but friends. Tom and Larry could talk trash for a long time, and after a year, they are together again.
You and your family are in my prayers.

To my uncle one of a kind. Rest in peace. You will be missed by all who know you. God chose to take you. We all of God children will meet again where the wicked shall cease from troubling and the weary shall be at rest. I can say you knew the Lord. I don't know another jokester like you but in Heaven I see you joking with everyone. Thanks for being a good uncle to my aunt Shirley. A kind hearted person you were in spite of your jokes. You made a lot of people laugh. I will miss that. Take your rest.
