When Lex was with us, I could always find more than a few choice words to describe one of my favorite Brothers. Now, though, it seems near impossible to paint a picture of a man who was, without a doubt, the most loyal, selfless, and, in his own way, wise person I have ever had the pleasure of befriending. It is with complete confidence that I say that Lex has left a legacy that most people will never come close to matching. I will miss him.

lex was good man, a great friend, a brother to many, a hard shell with a soft heart, he was a strong influence in a quiet way within the union (iatse # 320), a master projectionist and flyman, with him goes his knowledge of his craft and the simple wisdom that he often passed along when one needed it most, he was a legend in his own time, a superhero of sorts, lex was all for one and one for all, if you needed the man he was there in good times and bad, for better and for worse, i miss my brother and friend

Lex never treated me like a girl when I worked with him and in this town and this industry that meant a lot. I will always remember and admire him for that and so much more.

I had the distinct pleasure of knowing Lex as a Brother in IATSE 320 as well as a friend. I can think of no other person who was so selfless and well liked. I like to think of Brother Lex as the keystone that kept the local together, a true testimate to how specail he was and is in our hearts.
