Maggie Rosalee Mikell

Mrs. Maggie Rosalee Mikell - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Maggie Rosalee peacefully entered into eternal rest at age 80 on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by her loving family. She was born in EvansCounty, GA and was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years the late Apostle Perlie Mikell. She was a lifelong\g member of The United House of Prayer for all People. She worked for Chatham County Board of Education Food Service where she retired after 24 years. She was a active member in Hudson Hill Community Organization. She and events and enjoyed many years of organizing youth activities such as "Summer Bananza" and will always be remembered for "The Steps of The Future Models" and presenting modeling programs throughout the community. She also was a foster mother to many while working the Foster Parent Program. She loved the youth and doing for others by which her life was fulfilled. Survivors are seven children; Saundra ( James) McDowell, Robert (Consandra) Mikell, Jimmie Mikell, Apostle Thomas (Gail) Mikell, Carl (Patricia) Mikell, William Mikell, Samuel (Sandra) Mikell, one special daughter of care; Doris Williams all of Savannah, GA, two sister-in laws; Geraldine Green of Savannah, GA, Willie Pearl Mikell of Walthourville, GA, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a host of nephews and nieces.
