I had purchased a vehicle from Pat a year or so ago. My brother Jim and I went to the store to pick it up, and what a story Pat had to tell us about hunting on my Grandaddy's land. I could tell in a short time listening to him talk, how much he loved people. He indeed was a special kind of man. God Bless you all.

I know this has been a difficult time for you all. There are no words that can comfort you at this time. Lean on family and friends for support. The Lord says he will not put anymore on us than we can stand, but sometimes he gives us credit for being able to withstand more than broken hearts can take. Read Romans chapter 8 when things get difficult. Just know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. It is during these times we realize how fragile life is and how we should thank the Lord for each day that he gives us to be with the ones we love.

Just before Christmas I saw Pat and he sent my 88 year old mother a carton of snuff.I have known him since childhood when he carried our groceries from the rolling store to the porch. A wonderful person that will be missed. Trust in the Lord to get you and the kids through this tough time.
