I worked with Paul at Schooley Mitchell and roomed with him at some of our annual conferences. I considered him a friend, not just a business associate. The last time we were together I surprised him by playing the old Hockey Night in Canada theme song as a ringtone on my iPhone. He roared with laughter. As he'd been living out of the country for decades, he said he hadn't heard it in a coon's age. It was a great moment. I knew that he was one of only a few people at the conference would understand what that song represented. We were only a year apart in age and spent time talking in our room about what it was like being raised in Montreal (where I lived while at grad school at McGill and could relate) and in Calgary in the 50's and 60's. He enjoyed reminiscing about growing up in Canada. I'm very saddened by his passing. He was a remarkable and unique individual.

Dear Joanne and Family,
It's been decades but it's seems like just yesterday that we shared the first years of our careers at BNR. I can still hear his laughter in the cubicle across from mine. We had good times. He was a good guy - un bon gars - in all sense of the word. Shock, disbelief and sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was shocked and upset to hear Paul had passed away so suddenly. I met Paul in our BNI Chapter, and took over for him as President when he started his project with Hargray. He was so knowledgeable in his profession and was always up to date on the latest goings on in his field. I know he'll be missed terribly, but watch for signs that he's still near. My dad, who passed away in 2016, has made it undoubtedly clear that he's still with me.
I have been, and will continue to think of his family, and send my prayers.

Joanne and Family:
Shocked and saddened to hear about Paul. He was one of the first individuals I came in contact with when I joined BNR. He was extremely helpful and was always there when I needed advice or help.Time and distance had separated us but when we spoke a few years ago, it was like nothing had changed and we decided to get together. Alas, we never did. He will be sorely missed. our Thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
