To Beverly, Tammy, Debra, Ricky and all of the Wrights, Mincey's and Jenkins Families who had the wonderful opportunity to not only be related to this wonderful human being, but many of whom were raised by her and got the chance to share in her love and to whom were taught many of life's lessons. Aunt Polly affectionately called by me was the aunt of my best friend, Pam, and I will always remember the warmth of her smile and her truly soft spoken nature. I will truly never forget "Aunt Polly".

Dear Grandma,
Its been hard accepting the reality that you are gone....but i feel u all around me. I just sit back and think about when we used to sit in the kitchen and recite "Hey Diddle Diddle" and you would put your own little tweek to it. You will always be in my heart. I love you dearly. This is for you grandma......"Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle the cow jumped over the mooooooona, the little dog laughed to see such sport, and the dish ran away with the spooooooona"! My Dear Sister, You were like a mother to me. You cared for and taught me many things. I baby-set your children and felt as if they were my own, especially Beverly and Bennie Boy. I talked to you almost every day and I will miss you so much. You never complained and was always willing to give a word of encouragement. My heart is heavy and so is that of my husband Harry, your favorite brother-in-law. My children loved you so much and talked about you constantly. So dear sister rest and tell Mama and Papa hello for me. Your sister Wilma Jean (Nod) Mincey.

Dear Grandma,
Words can not express what I'm feeling right now. I don't even know where to begin. You have been my guide, my rock, my counsel, my friend, my teacher, my partner, but most of all you were always my Grandma. I know that you are in a better place watching over us as if you were still here. I will take with me your teachings, your laughter, your wisdom, your understanding, but most of all your guidence and pass it on to the next generations to come. I hope and pray I can make you proud in carrying on the gifts that you have bestored upon me to my children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. It's a big responsibility that you have entrusted in me, and I promise to carry on your legacy until the torch is passed again. I love you with all my heart and will miss you dearly. Words cannot express how much I will truly miss my dear sister, Polly. I love her so very much and know she is smiling from above talking to Susie, Bennie, Moot, Jack, Mama Viola, Thomas, Bootsie, Jerome, and all the rest of our loved ones. We're sorry we can't be with you during our loss. Aunt Polly is much loved and will be missed. We will miss her wonderful, loving, warm and gentle spirit and humor. I'll never forget how she chased me to "get me" when I ngrew taller than her. (smile) She is at peace now smiling from above in her special Aunt Polly way.

May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Grandma Polly was a wonderful lady I met a few years ago through my husband Anthony (Tony). She was a gift from God, and her life demonstrated the picture of pure love. Grandma Polly touched so many lives with her kindness, and love for so many people. She loved with all her heart and was always there for everyone that ever needed her. I pray for your comfort, healing, strength, and togetherness during your bereavement. Know that God will be your comfort and strength, and if you look to him, he will be to supply all that you need. Special regards to Mrs. Jackson.
