Ricky,

My mom gave me a copy of your dad's obituary in the Herald. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was always very nice to me. I remember fishing in Marco Island with you and your parents. I caught my first fish. And having dinner at your home with them (we could start after your mom started - often by just putting her fork in the food while she finished cooking). Your dad seems to have had such an interesting career. That's so great. I'm sorry to have lost touch all these years. My best to your mom and to you. Regards, Ed Casal

Dear Betty & family:

I am sorry to hear about Mr. Kaynor. I know he will be missed by all. My brother, Ed Flynn, always spoke so highly of the Kaynor family. I was your neighbor - living behind you on Park Ave. in Coconut Grove for many years.

Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Dear Betty, Margaret & family:

I was very sad to read about Dick. He truly was a wonderful person. We were neighbors, when I lived on Park Ave. in Coconut Grove, for many years. Eventually I took care are of his yard/grounds for years, til he moved away. When he was there, he always had such interesting stories to tell.He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Good by Mr. Kaynor, my friend.

I look forward to the day I see my Uncle Richard in Heaven, his families loss is Heavens gain. There is A scar on my right hand I received from an angry stone crab in FL that will always remind me of my dear Uncle, who laughed uncontrollably while they stitched me up, hands down one of the fondest memories I have of my sweet Uncle.

My love to Betty, Maggie, Rick and the families. And my sympathy of course. I am remembering not just all of you, Richard too of course, but a railroad spike Betty and Richard brought me back from world travels and work. It was a spike from the railway made famous by soldiering Lawrence of Arabia. I still use the spike as a paper weight and remember the Kaynors.
