I met Robert almost 3 years ago while I was Pastoring a small church on Wilmington Island. Initially there was a small group of volunteers that began feeding men and women at Franklin Square every Saturday. It was during this time I met Robert, he worked next door and was so very helpful to me personally and all of us who really didn't know what we were doing at that time. When a group of us recently started a Bible study on Wednesday during lunch Robert was the first one there. Once again he was a tremendous help. What we witnessed over the years was Roberts heart for God and a love for others. We ALL loved Robert and thank God for him. He will be missed but we do take comfort knowing we will see him again. To Roberts family know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
