Ronald Tootle Obituary

Ronald Tootle, 71, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 10, 1947 in Glennville, GA to the late Troy and Lonnell Surrency Tootle. Ronald was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He lived in Glennville, GA, Columbus, OH, and spent his later years in Savannah, GA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Sonny Dale Tootle, Randall Tootle, Reginald Tootle, Delores Grantham, and David Tootle, as well as one grandson, Corey Tootle.

He is survived by nine children, Dawn Tootle Merritt, Ronald Tootle, Jeffrey Tootle, Allen Tootle, Brandi Tootle, Troy Tootle, Jamie Woods, Bryant Tootle, and Tyler Tootle, as well as four siblings, Faye Mitchell, Dewayne Tootle, Elaine Carroll, and Larry Tootle, and eleven grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.

He will be laid to rest in peace with his family at Love's Chapel Cemetery in Tattnall County, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs in support of our VA Hospitals, www.volunteer.va.gov/apps/volunteernow.
