Blackie was a wonderful, lovely friend. She was so full of life and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I've missed her and wish I could have got to see her one more time.

This wonderful Gal was my Aunt Blackie. My Mama and her became best friends in 1944 as telephone operators at Candler Hospital in Savannah. I loved and will always love you Aunt Blackie. Heaven has a great girl now.
