Matt, I am just speechless. I hardly know what to say - your mom and I had so many things to bond us, both good and bad.........I can't stop thinking about how both she and Chris have changed our lives. Without him, we wouldn't have Zandra, without her understanding and her giving me the knowing that I wasn't alone when things were bad, I'd gone crazy........I always had a special place for her in my heart, I think of the things she shared with me about her growing up and how she knows she thinks differently then some at times, but her heart was full of goodness and her soul was beautiful. I promise never to forget her, and neither will Zandra. Zandra has a picture of her and your mom at the Whoopie Pie Festival in Strasburg where your mom had her face painted with a butterfly. We'll say a blessing for her whenever we see a butterfly, I promise you. We'll be sure that Zandra always knows how much she loved her, more than most grandmothers even if she couldn't be with her. I am so sorry, both for you and for your family, and for myself and what I've lost in a friend.
