August 14, 2009

I haven't seen Stan for a lot of years but we used to hang together along with several others around Teresa Drive and Jan Street. We all grew up together and had great fun. Stan was the joker of the crowd. It's surprising sometimes how fast time goes by. Good friends are hard to find and the ones you have should be cherished.

Dear Carl,Sr. and entire Sapp family and the Ferraro family. Your wife Patty was my best childhood friend. We drifted apart but I never forgot her or the Ferraro family. I was absolutely devasted 2 years ago to read her name in the paper. I saw Stan when he was just a little baby. And then she met you, and Anne met your brother, and I believe you all are from Claxton, as my people are, I was just so happy that she was finally happy. I saw that her Mother Mary Ferraro was still with you all. I would love to see the family again, have been away. Please email me, we are planning a move back to Savannah by xmas I hope. Just ask Mrs. Ferraro if she remembers Delores O'Neal on Liberty Street. I have tried to find her #, but no luck. I was sorry for you and your children 2 years ago, and I am equally as sorry right now. I pray that God will give you strenght and courage to go forward. Take care, and please contact me. Sincerely, Delores Oneal Benedict email([email protected])

It is so hard to write something about someone that meant so much and died so young. I became best friends with Stan instantly in the early nineties and have enjoyed every minute I spent with him. I was so glad that he married Jenny. He was such a kind person, that he couldn't have found a sweeter match. Stan was one of the sweetest most caring persons that I have ever met... always eager to help anyone and everyone. Jenny, Cameron, Bradley and to his father and brothers, I am praying for you through this difficult time. I am going to miss him dearly.

I know we all have another angel watching over us.
Love, a hug and a prayer, Christi Aydell

To all Stans friends and family : Stan is going to missed dearly his laugh his smile most of all telling us all live life to the fullest.Stan and I have been great friends for a long time and know he is still with all of us. He was there when my children were born Jaymee and Wesley and they will miss him dearly too. To all who read this will know who you are : Trips to mountains , horse back riding , camping , cruises , outings on the Gypsy(his Boat) we all have had lots of memories but lots of laughing when it came to going on a trip with Stan. But the most important thing my freind did was always keep in touch with me and I know he did with all his other friends as well. He never complained how bad he felt but was always concerned how I was doing . I Love you always my friend.
