Steve Conde

1961 - 2018

On Friday, December 14, 2018, Steve Cone, age 57, of Peachtree Corners, GA passed away from cardiac arrest resulting from the flu. Steve grew up in a family of artists in Savannah and graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 1980 and Georgia State University in 1985 with a degree in Marketing.

He started his career in Marketing at TDA and honed his skills at various companies including XEROX Audio Visual Solutions. He found his niche in taking small ideas and executing them into successful marketing strategies. He used these skills in giving back to his community through service on the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association, the Peachtree Corners Business Association and Yielded Men Ministries. Steve had a passion for music, cooking and most importantly his two children, Shelby and Evan. His greatest job was being a father and supporting them in their pursuits.

He was well known for his love of Mexican food, Beatles music, Caddyshack, Monty Python movies and pulling pranks on friends and loved ones.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Brantley Cone. He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Cone; son, Evan Cone; the children's Mother, Ann Cone; mother, Peggy Cone; Brothers, Jim Cone (Rosemary), Randy Cone (Kim); several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at Simpsonwood United Methodist Church, 4500 Jones Bridge Circle NW, Peachtree Corners, GA, 30092. A reception with family and friends will take place after the memorial service at the church.
