January 10, 2005

Dear JoAnn, Mrs.Hiers,Gene & Nancy,Carisle & Sarah, Len & Family, and all of Steve'family and loved ones,

I was so saddened to hear about Steve. Mom Shuman told me several months ago about his illness. Although it has been far too many years since I have seen any of you, I have nothing but the fondest memories of each and everyone. When I close my eyes, I still see Steve and Len running around as little boys. He was a great "little boy" and it is obvious he grew into a truly wonderful man. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all .May God continue to bless and keep you, surround you with His love and give you comfort and peace. Much love, Anne

Steve is a wonderful human being who could always make us all laugh. His sunny personality was uniquely his, and we will all miss the warmth he brought to our hearts. Love, joy, goodness, gentleness and faithfulness. These are the qualities I would use to best describe my precious Uncle Steve. His love for others and joy for living was evident in all that he did. My words can't begin to paint an adequate picture of this man and the mark he has left on my heart. I praise God that he is with his King, the Lord Jesus Christ, in Glory. Although he will be greatly missed, I take comfort in the fact that one day I will see him again in eternity...

Teresa and family,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing in the newspaper. I did not even know he was sick. We attended Coastal Cathedral together, but we have lost touch with each other. We lost Mom (Clara Bell) in Sept. 2003 with glioblastoma, but I can't begin to know what you are going through losing a spouse. Steve was and is a dear person and I know he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our prayers are with you and the whole family. If there is anything I can do or anything you need please call (927-2546).

Jack and I send our sincere sympathy in losing Steve. We have known Steve for many years, as a matter of fact he was at our wedding 32 years ago. I saw Steve at Larry's many times, I know that he had found the Lord and was a very happy man.

This past summer when I found he was ill, it broke my heart, as he

was full of life, and fun. I too, at that time was undergoing chemo,

I knew he was scared, but he was strong. He had God on his side.

I have cried for Steve, but I will be happy, knowing there will no more pain, no chemo. He is with God.

My love to Steve, and his family,

Kathie Keel-Williams and Jack
