Umeka Cowrt-Bacon Obituary

Umeka Develle Cowart-Bacon - SAVANNAH - Umeka Develle Cowart-Bacon was born July 23, 1973 in Savannah, Georgia, to Vaughndine Cowart and Robert Small. She attended the public schools of Bryan County and was a 1991 graduate of Richmond Hill High School. She also attended Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, Georgia. At an early age, she accepted Christ and was a member of Daniel Siding Church of Christ. She later moved her membership to Long Reach New Church of Christ in Riceboro, Georgia. She was joined in holy matrimony to Tyrone Bacon on March 14, 1992. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Oliver Cowart, Sr. and Mother China Mae Cowart. She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband of 22 years, Tyrone Bacon, two daughters: (PV2) Tia Bacon of Ft Hood, TX and Adara Bacon of Richmond Hill, GA, her mother Vaughdine Cowart of Richmond Hill, GA; her father Robert (Charlesetta) Small of Savannah, GA; her in laws: George and Lorene Bacon, Riceboro, GA; her grandmother in law: Sadie M. Green, Estill, SC, her sisters: Rhonda (Willie) Mays and Alexis Small of Savannah, GA; Sheleia (DeAndre) Taylor of Port Wentworth, GA, PaTrice Shellman of Richmond Hill, GA, Tammy (Bernard) Partridge of Killeen, TX, her brothers: Antonio (Renee) Gadson and Bryan Small of Savannah, GA, Keith Cowart of Richmond Hill, GA and John (Octavia) Shellman of Ellabell, GA; her aunts and uncles: Irene (Horace) Jenkins, Sallie Cowart, Olivia Scriven, Oliver Cowart, Jr., and Arthur Miller all of Richmond Hill, GA, Elizabeth (Ozzie) Frasier and Evelyn Miller of Savannah, GA, and Jimmie (Lou) Brooks, Atlanta, GA, Elaine Franklin, Katie (Al) Newton, Clarence Mustipher all of Savannah, GA, Henry (Mary) Mustipher of Colorado Springs, CO, George (Juanita) Bryant, Alice (Iasiah) Houston, Margaret Bacon, all of Riceboro, GA, Roy (Ruby) Hines of Atlanta, GA, George Stevens of Savannah, GA, Sherrie Baker of Allenhurst, GA, Earl Hines of Brooklyn, NY, Dottie (Mack) Warren and Jordon Green of Estill, SC, Al (Denise) Green, Beaufort, SC, Marie Fields of Augusta, GA, her sister & brother in laws: Calvin Bacon, Georgia Holliday, KaTrina Bacon and Clinton Bacon all of Riceboro, GA, her God-son, Calvin Jenkins and God-daughter Tamar Moore, her best friends: Melissa Solomon and Jackie Bush and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
