Charles Reynolds Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Reynolds passed away on May 16, 2017 surrounded by family, at the age of 88. Chuck was born in New York on December 10, 1928 to Alexander and Orpha Reynolds and moved to California in 1945 with his family.
After completing his Master's, Chuck began his teaching career, and then later became a beloved principal for nearly twenty years.
Chuck and his wife of 42 years, Cindy, were together constantly. They enjoyed visiting their family, and traveling through 44 states, walking always hand in hand.
Chuck was pre-deceased by his loving wife and two children, Harold Schmid and Carol Schmid. He is survived by children, Rick (Donna) Reynolds of Highland, CA, Lynn (Don) Austin of Las Vegas, NV; by grandchildren, Jim Austin, Kristi Castro, Jennifer Chavez, Kimberly Elgin, Jeff Flaherty, Tammy Flaherty, Julia Macias, Daniel Reynolds, Todd Reynolds, Joe Schmid and Carolyn Weaver; and by 31 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Chuck always made family and friends a top priority, and he will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be May 21, 4 to 8 p.m. and services will be Monday, May 22, 1 p.m. Both services will be held at Montecito Memorial in Colton.

I send my prayers and love to the entire family. Although not personally, I felt I knew you... through the numerous family photos that Mr. Reynolds brought in to the print shop over so many years. Oh, and the stories he would tell...he was so proud of you all. I grew to consider him my "adopted grandpa" and he would often visit the shop to say hello even when he didn't have any printing to be done. I was blessed to know him and I will miss and cherish our conversations and his loving wisdom. I pray that your hearts will find peace and healing after the tremendous loss of such a wonderful man.
